First of all I’d like to say that this is overall a really well put-together project! navigating the site is easy and intuitive, and I liked how you found a way to include less than 10% of the original text in the digital edition, while still keeping what was important for context. As for something you could improve on in a future project, maybe you could have added a bit more context for how mental illness is viewed/treated in black individuals.

I enjoyed how you choose a piece that was so unique and not covered in class. This brought me more information on mental illness, especially from a new perspective. This piece added to my knowledge of how culture affects mental illness. If anything I believe providing pictures of Meri Nana-Ama Danquahwould would have added to this project,. I am a very visual person so I think this would have drawn my attention even more. Overall, great ADE and presentation!

Hi Mikayla! I am so impressed by your project, everything came together really well and the piece of literature you covered was incredibly interesting. Your site is also super easy to navigate which is very helpful for people who aren’t very tech savvy such as myself. In the future, I think adding some more multimodal features could be helpful in making your website more interactive but all around this project is very well done!
